Pagenaud, Farfus to race at Surfers

Sportscar stars Simon Pagenaud and Augusto Farfus are the latest drivers to sign up for the V8 Supercar races at Surfers Paradise in October. Both will drive for the Garry Rogers Holden squad alongside team regulars Michael Caruso and Lee Holdsworth at the event - at which every team has to field an 'international' driver - although the exact pairings will not be decided until a later date. Rogers believes that the Peugeot sportscar driver Pagenaud (pictured), who won last year's American Le Mans Series LMP title and made his IndyCar debut earlier this year, and BMW GT man Farfus, will adapt well to the demands of the V8s.
